Video Chioggia – In the Shade of a Jewel

In the first Venice acknowledged its homage to the Empire but not in the second, reflecting the decline of Byzantium and the rise of Venices power.

A short film on my city, Chioggia, which is just few kilometers from Venice (the Jewel) and which has always been in its shadow. But it is a beautiful town to discover in itself. Just have a look.

These early canvases were generally rough.
